Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. prides itself as a fraternity devoted to being the "inclusive we" rather than the
"exclusive we" and has served our respective communities for over 97 years. We actively support our national programs of Social Action, Education, and Bigger Better Business in a variety of ways. History

From its inception, the founders also conceived Phi Beta Sigma as a mechanism to deliver services to the general community. Rather than gaining skills to be utilized exclusively for themselves and their immediate families, the founders of Phi Beta Sigma held a deep conviction that they should return their newly acquired skills to the communities from which they had come. Because of that vision, Nu Eta Sigma is in Japan to make sure that “Our Cause Speeds On Its Way” by providing “Service in the land of the Rising Sun.”
